BRUCE LEE OLSON

Mr. Olson is a shareholder and chair of the Tax Section of the Salt Lake law firm Ray, Quinney & Nebeker. He is a leader in Utah in organizing and advising nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, including some of the largest private foundations, universities, health care institutions, and charities in the State, as well as small tax-exempt organizations. He was principal drafter of Utah's Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act and advises the Legislature on amendments to that Act. He is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and former chair of the Tax and Nonprofit Sections of the Utah State Bar. He was the Utah State Bar's Tax Practitioner of the Year in 2001 and was named Best Tax Lawyer in Utah in 2013 by the Best Lawyers rating agency. He teaches classes and gives frequent seminars on nonprofit corporations.
