Introduction to Statistical Inference
Academic Credit

The important topics used in making inferences from data will be presented and illustrated. As well as material on descriptive statistics, estimation of the mean, or of the proportion, in one or two populations, simple linear regression, and one-way analysis of variance are covered. Recommended prerequisite is either MATH 980 with a B or better or MATH 1010 with a C or better, an Accuplacer AAF score of as least 235, an ACT math score of at least 22, or an SAT math score of at least 550.
