This course covers necessary theory and application required for physical therapists to create and maintain a safe environment while treating patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. Course topics will include safety topics such as patient education, and fitting of adaptive equipment as well as topics related to patient handling such as proper technique for assistance and patient comfort and modesty.
Registration Information: If you are a matriculated student, you must register for credit classes using the Campus Information System (CIS). If you are new to the University, you must first submit an application to the Admissions Office, then register using the Campus Information System (CIS).
