The topics covered in this course detail the neuroanatomic structures and neurophysiological processes that appear to be responsible for sensory function, motor function, cognition, coordinated movement, and autonomic function. Material is presented that discusses embryology, neuroplasticity, and the effects of aging and disease on nervous system anatomy. This course contains lecture and laboratory work encompassing neuroanatomical structure and basic functional neurology.
