In this survey course, the goal is to explore the overlapping fields of cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, and cognitive psychology. To this end, course topics will include an overview of the nervous system and cognitive neuroscience research methods, as well as extensive discussion of the neural bases of mental functions and behaviors such as hemispheric specialization, object recognition, motor control, visual-spatial processing, attention, language, cognitive control, and memory.
