Pre-Departure Activities
Welcome to Go Learn's "Russia 2017" tour!
With Go Learn journeys, one not only gets to enjoy meaningful travel during the tour, but also receives added value in a pre-departure lecture series, as well as a tour reunion to make your tour the best it can be. In a way, you will travel with Go Learn for almost two months!
Pre-Departure Sessions:
In early June 2017, you will meet your fellow travelers, your tour leaders, and Go Learn staff for an introduction, logistics, and packing session. You will get to know each other and get to know what to expect in detail. We will make this fun, believe us. Let the bonding begin!
The following three weeks will focus on the history, culture, literature, and iconography of Russia. Join Gene for fascinating mini-lectures that will be your primer for understanding Russia's cultural heart.
Additional Courses (optional)
These courses are taught through the Lifelong Learning and OSHER Lifelong Learning Institute programs and will include other students who might not be enrolled in the tour and will probably be insanely jealous of you, so be prepared! There will be an additional charge for any courses outside of the regular pre-departure courses listed above.
