J LOONEY

Chef J Looney came up in kitchens and began his love of food young in life. J ran and operated the first food truck in Utah (the Chow Truck) and helped build the food truck culture that Utah enjoys today. As a former instructor at the U, he taught the highly successful "Cultural Aspects of Food" class that explored food from all over the world. J is currently a private chef and teaches private cooking lessons as well as classes through Lifelong Learning. He lives in Salt Lake City with his two crazy pugs, Betty and Junebug.
