Backpacking: Resource management issues, skills, safety, and consumerism. Class meets Sept. 10th only. Drops not possible after 2nd day following this meeting. Field program Sep. 20, 21, 22. Ideas and approaches to environmental ethics associated with backpacking on federal lands. THIS COURSE IS TAUGHT BY WOMEN AND CREATED FOR A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE. Techniques, backcountry specific information and discussions directed and pertaining to females will be a large part of course.
