Fall 2022 Section 1, Starting on: 10/24/2022
This course will focus on the natural history of Arches National Park. In addition to day hiking, this course will focus on contemporary resource management challenges and their relationship to user behaviors. Curriculum will also regard safety, Leave No Trace ethics, consumerism, and environmental ethics. Class meets on-campus on Oct. 24th only. Attendance at first class meeting is mandatory. Field experience will be from Oct. 28th - Oct. 30th.
