Note: This course focuses on outdoor cooking and camping at a front-range campground. Students will learn about different cooking techniques and tools, such as a two-burner stove, whisperlight backpacking stoves, canister stoves, and/or dutch ovens. Students will learn about campsite selection, camping equipment, and how to prepare for their own camping adventures. Class meets on-campus on April 9 only. Attendance at first class meeting is mandatory. Field experience will be April 19-21.
