Class Sections For Canyoneering I: Technical Canyoneering (PRTL 263)

Fall 2018 Section 1, Starting on: 08/21/2018

Attendance at both class meetings (prior to field trip) is mandatory. Drops not possible after 2nd day following the first class meeting. 1st of a 3- course series, but may be taken on its own. Technical skills taught based on the ACA International Level 1 standards such as Logistics and Safety, Leave No Trace Ethics, Basic Knots, Intro to Anchors and Rigging, Rappelling and Belaying, Self Rescue and more. Class meets Tuesdays August 21st and August 28th. Overnight Camping Field trip all day Fri-Sun August 31st - September 2nd.
