Spring 2019 Section 3, Starting on: 03/18/2019

INSTRUCTOR CONSENT is required to register for this class. This class is being offered to students enrolled in (Work, Wellness and the Great Outdoors Learning Community - UGS 2300). Both class meetings (prior to field trip) are mandatory. Drops not possible after 2nd day following the first class meeting. Technical skills taught based on the ACA international Level 1 standards such as logistics and safety, Leave No Trace ethics, basic knots, intro to anchors and rigging, rappelling and belaying, self-rescue and more. Class meets March 18 & March 20. Overnight camping field trip all day Fri-Sun March 22 - March 24.
