In the ever changing landscape of the internet the ability to use tools proficiently and be able to speak in design and code are crucial skills. The Front-End Web Design certificate was created to teach, and sharpen the skills of anyone seeking to interface with the web. Each student will come away from the class with an understanding of the modern tools, processes, and technologies used in web design and front-end development. In addition to learning about the tools, we will discuss their practical application to meet current industry needs.
While most courses focus heavily on design or coding, this course seeks to combine the two into comprehensive set of skills that will allow each student to be able to branch out into either direction. By learning the common language between design and development the graduates of this certificate are uniquely positioned to assist in all aspects of digital marketing, or in helping organizations in overcoming the communication hurdles that so often plague product and engineering relationships.
This certificate program provides participants with in depth knowledge on the programs and procedures for creating dynamic and responsive websites. Students will gain skills in web design and the work that goes into the backend including the HTML/CSS coding and website debugging.
The Front End Web Design certificate is designed for four primary audiences:

“Nate was really helpful and took time to help each of us one-on-one since we all had different needs for our websites. I really enjoyed this course!”
“The subject matter of this class was entirely new to me, and I appreciated the way that it was taught for beginners. I'm really proud of what I have created (having had zero knowledge coming into the course).”
“Very professional. Nate had a lot of industry experience and can provide you with practical knowledge.”
“I liked that the whole class was building on this one project, so I felt like each thing I learned had a purpose that I could put to use.”
“This program helped me go from zero web design experience to designing and creating an entire website in one semester. It's a great way to get a taste of both design and coding in one class.”
“The course instructor treated us all like the working professionals that we are, realizing that we all have a lot going on but also want to carve out time to improve our knowledge in web design. Our instructor created a comfortable learning environment where each student could take away the knowledge they required from the course.”
