This fully online, self-paced Professional Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Certificate Program teaches fundamental bookkeeping skills and QuickBooks Online accounting software.

The program is meant to develop your understanding of bookkeeping and accounting, the basic bookkeeping functions, analyzing business transactions, the general journal and ledger, accounting adjustments, the monthly and annual closing process, and preparing financial statements.

QuickBooks Online is an accounting software program for self-employed professionals and small businesses. It can be used for almost all financial business process. You can use it for entering receipts, tracking expenses, invoicing, tax tracking, purchase orders, payment tracking, and prepare reports and statements regarding your finances.

Over the course of the program, you’ll be provided an interactive learning experience through the QuickBooks Online software. Additionally, we offer a Quick Review Guide that streamlines your review for the QuickBooks User Certification examination.

Expected time to complete:    This course is a self-paced, and self-study course. Therefore, the actual length of the course is determined by the amount of time you dedicate to the course and how fast you’re able to move through the material.

Julie Delong

Julie DeLong is a highly skilled accountant with 12 years of experience working with hundreds of businesses in all kinds of industries. She co-founded three companies in the accounting industry: Backyard Bookkeeper has provided bookkeeping services to companies nationwide since 2008, Backyard Payroll provides affordable payroll processing solutions to small businesses, and SPC Strategies is a consulting company that specializes in building and optimizing accounting departments. Julie has a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University.

Julie's specialty is deciphering the mechanics of how individual transactions move through a company's financial data and developing practical systems for monitoring and maintaining the data. Her accounting experience in a wide array of industries and using multiple software packages gives her unique insights which will help students understand practical bookkeeping as well as accounting theory.
