Go Learn

As someone who has always prided myself on the superiority of self-planned tours, the Go Learn tour proved me wrong—it showed me how much richer the experience is with a small group of like-minded co-adventurers, led by well organized, thoughtful yet playful leaders. With Go Learn we were able to see and do three times more with zero hassle in moving around from place to beautiful place.

Tim and Jane are the best. They both are extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and organized. Their love of England is apparent to anyone who talks to them for more than 10 seconds. I would travel anywhere with either or both of them.

The entire trip left me with many wonderful memories of Cuba...The Cuban people we met revealed the soul of Cuba by generously sharing their passion, creativity and knowledge with us. I especially enjoyed the last night in Havana when we gathered at the very cool tapas bar at sunset. Two authentic troubadours serenaded us with song and acoustic guitars. Remembering Christmas in Oaxaca
Posted 20 Mar 2018

Back in December Kayln Denny of Kaylyn’s Kitchen joined us on our trip to Oaxaca.  Take a moment and read all about her experience over on her ... Read More >>

... the day we topped a hill at noontime and the land fell away in a panorama ... gazing on fields of blood red poppies, as far as the eye could see, blooming in the sun even to the reaches of an ancient church where the Camino winded, and the three of us—mother, father and daughter—hugged on the roadside with heartfelt joy, this after the hard ride. We sipped wine and broke bread in the cloister marked by the cross of St. James. It was good, this life.

Traveling with Tim Slover and Jane England was like having local experts to guide us. Whether it was standing on the lawn outside Parliament, in front of a painting at the National Gallery, in the Grecian room at the British Museum or on the tube en route to Othello, when Tim spoke to brief us even the Brits gathered around to listen.
