I'm Britta, and I am passionate about connecting people to food -- real, earth-sprung, vibrant food! I have spent many seasons as a farmer and educator, sharing the marvel of giant vegetables grown in Alaska, the heritage seed crops stewarded in Arizona, and beyond. But in 2021, I brought my love of food education to a Nutrition Master's program at the U. It was there I worked closely with the Culinary Medicine program, facilitating hands-on cooking classes and engaging in research on the positive impact of culinary medicine courses for medical students. Now, I am a culinary dietitian and continue to help build positive relationships with food, especially in my new sweet spot -- the teaching kitchen! My cooking classes are inspired by the beauty of colorful food, the fun of community connection, and always with an eye toward true nourishment and health.
