This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.

This course focuses on outdoor cooking and camping at a front-range campground. Students will learn about different cooking techniques and tools, such as a two-burner stove, whisperlight backpacking stoves, canister stoves, and/or dutch ovens. Students will learn about campsite selection, camping equipment, and how to prepare for their own camping adventures. Attendance at first class meeting is mandatory. Drops not possible after the 2nd day following this meeting. Class meets Sept. 5 only. This class meets at the Sandy Campus at 10011 Centennial Parkway, Suite 100, Sandy.
