Excel and AI: Intermediate
Professional Education

In this hands-on, interactive Microsoft Excel class, students will learn to calculate with advanced formulas and use specialized functions such as the IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, MATCH and master using absolute and relative formulas. Students will create, format, and modify charts and tables. Additionally, the course will explore how AI tools can be utilized to enhance Excel tasks, such as predictive analytics and automated data insights. Other topics include 3D referencing, handling graphic objects, conditional formatting, data validation and creating and saving your own templates. To ensure success, students should have some familiarity with the following in Excel: navigation, entering and editing data, rows and columns, saving, and cut, copy, paste, and working with basic functions. By the end of the course, students will: Enhance their proficiency in Excel with advanced formulas and specialized functions; Master the creation, formatting, and modification of charts and tables; Utilize AI tools to automate tasks and gain deeper data insights; Develop skills in advanced data visualization and reporting; Learn to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently. This course combines intermediate and advanced Excel topics, ensuring students build on their existing knowledge and integrate AI tools to maximize their productivity and data analysis capabilities.
