This hands-on course introduces participants to the fundamentals of AI, effective prompt-writing strategies, and practical applications across office tasks, communication, and creative projects. Learners will explore text, image, and video generation, experiment with real-world use cases, and practice designing prompts that deliver clear, useful outputs. The course concludes with a focus on ethical considerations, responsible use, and strategies for building productivity with guardrails. The learning objectives for this course include: 1) understand how generative, agentic, and anthropic AI fit into the broader AI landscape; 2) write effective prompts using six core strategies (clarity, specificity, context, tone, creativity, personas); 3) apply ChatGPT to workplace tasks such as drafting emails, summarizing documents, and creating presentations; 4) generate and refine visual and video content with AI tools such as DALL·E; 5) identify high-value AI use cases within their industry and evaluate business benefits; and 6) recognize ethical risks--including bias, privacy, and hallucinations--and apply responsible AI practices in professional settings.
