AI at Work 2: Productivity with ChatGPT
Professional Education

Artificial Intelligence is evolving rapidly, but the core principles of working effectively with it remain steady. This intermediate, business-focused, hands-on workshop builds on the first course in our AI at Work Micro-credential and emphasizes Augmented Intelligence---using AI to enhance, not replace, human decision-making and productivity. The course will utilize the power of AI to assist in teaching and advancing the concepts covered. Participants will learn how to customize ChatGPT, apply advanced prompting techniques, explore multimodal (data analysis, images, charts, voice, browsing) and Custom GPT capabilities, and design AI-driven workflows that save time and boost results. Through guided practice, participants will create their own AI assistant or workflow prototype tailored to their role. Finally, learners will develop strategies for staying current as the AI landscape evolves, ensuring their skills remain relevant even as tools change. The learning objectives for this course include: 1) differentiate and position AI in the workplace, 2) master advanced prompting and customization, 3) design and apply AI-driven workflows, and 4) sustain and elevate AI practices. This course uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT as an instructional tool, with concepts transferable to other AI products.
