This course offers an in-depth exploration of the grant writing process, focusing on effectively researching grant opportunities and the fundamentals of crafting successful proposals. Students will learn the nuances of seeking funding for non-profit organizations, government agencies, and corporate funders. By the end of the course, students will gain the skills needed to write well-structured, competitive grant proposals and manage the complexities of the grant application process. The learning objectives for this course include: 1) understand grant writing fundamentals; 2) learn to research and identify grant opportunities; 3) develop a compelling grant proposal; and 4) build confidence in navigating the grant application process.
