Deck Design: Skateboard Painting Workshop (Age 12-17)

Create your own custom skateboard in this creative and one of a kind painting class. Spend five days brainstorming, designing and creating your dream skateboard deck with custom wheels, trucks and of course artwork! Students will learn the ins and outs of designing an uniquely shaped illustration from concept to final. Come join this challenging class for creatives and skateboarding enthusiasts!
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn techniques for application of acrylic based paint & ink to wood and griptape.
- Learn the development process of an artwork through preliminary drawings to the finished piece.
- Learn visual problem solving on unusually shaped/textured surfaces

Due to high material costs (spray paint, respirators, filters, skate decks, hardware et. al.) the special fees for this class have been adjusted accordingly. Reminder emails will be sent out before camp begins and will include location notes and other details.
