History Through Board Gaming: The American Revolution (Age 10-14)

This class presents a historical overview of the revolt against British rule that would forever change the course of history. By featuring the board game Command & Colors: Tricorne, key battles of the American Revolution will be explored in depth, including battle tactics and the importance of troop morale. Students will have the opportunity to recreate famous historical battles such as Bunker Hill (1775) , Monmouth (1778) and Guilford Courthouse. (1781) The course includes lots of historical background combined with board gaming fun - a truly revolutionary experience! Co-sponsored with Game Night Games.
