Discover the art of game design without sitting in front of a screen! In this literal hands-on course, students will learn how to create engaging games using paper, dice, cards, and their own imagination. They will explore core design principles like mechanics, balance, and playtesting while building prototypes that bring their ideas to life. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.

  • Understand core principles of tabletop game design
  • Develop prototypes using paper-based materials and creative problem-solving
