Mighty mages cast powerful spells and summon mythical creatures in this beautifully illustrated, elaborately designed, strategy card game. At its core, Magic is a strategy card game that pits one player's deck of cards against another player's deck. In deckbuilding, you will get to decide exactly what card combination of virtuous heroes, fearsome creatures, brave warriors, mystical lands and magical spells to include in your deck. You will learn the basics of deck-building as well as card-play strategies for different types of decks. Magic: the Gathering is a surprisingly deep, fast, fun and challenging game. After completing the camp, you will have multiple decks in your collection, plus extra cards to use as building blocks for future decks. This bootcamp is geared toward beginners.
