Writing Stories for Games (Age 14-17)
Youth Education

Whether you're playing an RPG, dating sim, or an open-world action game, narrative game designers craft captivating stories and characters that pull you in and don't let go. In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of interactive storytelling, character development, and world-building. They will practice writing branching narratives, dialogue, and plotlines that keep players engaged and immersed. By the end of the week, students will have designed their own game concept complete with a compelling story arc. Co-sponsored with Utah Division of Games.
