Intro to ASL (Age 6-9)

This fun and interactive camp introduces beginners to the basics of American Sign Language. Campers will learn essential conversational vocabulary, sentence structure, numbers, and the alphabet. They'll also build a vocabulary of everyday words, like food, objects, and actions, while practicing communication in a whole new way.

Learning Objectives:
    • Understand foundational American Sign Language vocabulary, including the alphabet and numbers
    • Practice forming basic sentences and conversational phrases in American Sign Language
    • Build a functional vocabulary of everyday words related to food, objects, and common actions
