Intro to ASL (Age 10-12)

This fun and interactive camp introduces beginners to the basics of American Sign Language. Campers will learn essential conversational vocabulary, sentence structure, numbers, and the alphabet. They will also build a vocabulary of everyday words, like food, objects, and actions, while practicing communication in a whole new way.

Learning Objectives:
  • Learn foundational American Sign Language skills including the alphabet, numbers, and essential conversational vocabulary
  • Understand basic ASL sentence structure and apply it through guided practice and interactive activities
  • Develop confidence communicating using everyday signs related to food, objects, actions, and common situations
