Employment Law
Professional Education

Over the past 50 years, workplace discrimination and harassment laws have evolved and in order to avoid potential financial liability, employers need to understand their legal obligations. This course will assist employers in understanding the law and creating policies and procedures that protect organizations from claims.

After completing this course, attendees will understand what responsibilities supervisors have in the process, what rights employees have in the work environment, which laws are triggered by company size, all about pre-employment inquiries, the definition of illegal discrimination, and, perhaps most importantly, how to guard against lawsuits and complaints.
