Professional Education
The University of Utah Professional Education Data Analytics Boot Camp, offered in partnership with edX, is made available through a unique consortium delivery model to provide skills-based learning to participants across Utah and beyond. Participants will be taught by a university-approved instructor, while learning alongside students from other consortium-participating universities and institutions. Upon meeting the completion requirements, participants will be issued a Certificate of Completion from University of Utah Professional Education.
Online Data Analytics Boot Camp Overview
Our Data Analytics Boot Camp is centered around the student experience. You’ll gain the skill set needed to analyze big data and provide key insights for an organization, all in 24 weeks. The program is part time, so you can learn data analytics online on a busy schedule and meet your daily obligations while earning your certificate. In this six-month program, you’ll learn a fundamental skill set of data analytics and visualization, including:

In our immersive online data analysis boot camp, you’ll have access to a hands-on curriculum teaching you fundamental coding methods and showing you how to apply them in a professional context. You’ll build a professional portfolio that showcases your skills over the course of 24 intensive weeks.
Weeks 1–2

The data boot camp culminates in a final project, in which you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with your peers and create a data-visualization application.
Data Analytics Boot Camp Career Outcomes
