Course Description

This program prepares UHealth students to advance their career as an effective medical assistant in a clinical setting. This program is presented in a hybrid format. The curriculum is online and self-paced. In addition to completing the online portion of this program, students need to attend a Basic Life Support (BLS) class and in-person skill labs. At the end of the program, students will participate in a Clinical Externship. This program will provide students with the skills and knowledge to earn the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA).
