Watercolor Painting: Next Steps
Lifelong Learning

You've been practicing with watercolor, learned some of the basics, and are ready to enhance your skills. Sometimes, it feels like the water has a mind of its own. You know that collaboration rather than control is needed, but you're wondering exactly how to do that. Dive deeper into color theory and color mixing through observation and hands-on practice. You'll expand on essential watercolor techniques, such as washes and layering, by developing additional skills from brush control to masking. Your confidence will grow, and your skills with this delicate and powerful medium will become more predictable as you create beautiful works of art. Come "play in the water" and continue your journey in the enchanting world of watercolor!
