Beginning Oil Painting II
Lifelong Learning
Join a local artist and art educator to continue your exploration of the fundamental methods and techniques of oil painting. You'll deepen and expand your knowledge about conceptualizing and creating compositions, limited versus expanded pallete, further color theory concepts, broken color, and painting from life versus painting from a photograph. You'll learn via instructor demonstration, individual attention with feedback and instruction, and a positive atmosphere that promotes self-growth.

Fall 2024 Section 1, Starting on: 09/11/2024
Taught by Shelby Shields. This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Special fee is for some shared materials. Students are responsible for most of their own materials; find the list online. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipts. Email our office at lifelong@utah.edu to inquire about the status of a class.
