Start your mosaic art journey in this beginner-friendly class all about glass-on-glass mosaics. You'll learn how to design a mosaic, cut glass, select adhesives, grout, and display an artwork that sparkles in the light like stained glass. You'll leave this course with new skills, new friends, and a 2- or 3-D colorful glass artwork that you can enjoy for years to come! The introductory glass skills you learn here are also a great way to prepare for other glass mediums such as fused or stained glass.

This class takes place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Students supply their own materials; find the list online. We hate canceling classes, but sometimes there are forces outside of our control. Please keep this in mind as you purchase supplies and hang onto your receipts. Email our office at lifelong@utah.edu to inquire about the status of a class. Special fee is for shared materials.
