Glass in the sunshine is stunning, to say the least, and doubly-so when it's in your own yard. Join us and explore how to create your own unique variation of rectangle yard art. You'll learn how to score and cut glass into strips, the chemistry of glass, firing temperatures, and how glass behaves under heat. Class Sections For Fused Glass: Yard Art Rectangle (LLCFT 210)
Spring 2027 Section 1, Starting on: 01/27/2027
This class takes place at Reflective Art Studio (511 West 500 South, Unit 100, SLC). Please use entrace on 500 W. Special fee is for all required materials and studio rental. Please note: Because kiln-formed glass requires multiple firing and cooling cycles, finished projects are not available to take home the day of class. Projects may take up to 3 - 4 weeks to complete. Students will be notified when their work is ready for pickup. It is recommended that students take at least one glass class with Sarinda prior to this class.
