David McCullough, "America's Historian," wrote numerous award-winning books. This course is designed to "whet your appetite" for reading his books. We will be exploring the historical significance of each book including, where it fits on the historical timeline, the location, economics, politics, and societal norms at the time of the events covered in each book. We will also be looking at the author himself, his life, and his other contributions to history.
