Korean Ink Painting Workshop of Basic Elements: The Four Gracious Symbols
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
This two-part workshop is a study of Korean freestyle painting. Class members will learn a variety of painting skills, using careful and precise brush strokes to control the ink paint. Session one will be bamboo and chrysanthemum. Session two will be orchid and plum tree. We will paint for three hours with a short break in the middle of the session. We will have an enjoyable time creating with this fascinating medium. Korean ink painting is one of the most meditative and fun ways to experience a cultural exchange.
