Nuclear Energy is coming to Utah. Learn about its benefits and risks. Learn about its beginnings, radiation hazards, nuclear accidents that have occurred, its future, safety measures, and possible solutions for nuclear waste disposal. At least half of this class will discuss present and future nuclear power plant designs, including small modular nuclear plants and the TerraPower plant design presently being built in Kemmerer, Wyoming, as well as nuclear waste disposal.
