Count Them! Tony Awards--Best of the Best

The Tony Awards are Broadway's biggest honor, celebrating the best in theater. Winning even one Tony is a huge achievement that comes from years of hard work. Winning multiple Tonys? That's something only the very best can do. In this class, we'll learn about the Broadway legends who have won the most Tony Awards. We'll meet amazing artists like director Bob Fosse (9 Tonys), producer Harold Prince (9), choreographer Gower Champion (8), actress Audra McDonald (6), and many others. We'll also look at the most award-winning shows in Broadway history, including Hello, Dolly! (14 Tonys), Cabaret (13), Hamilton (11), and A Chorus Line (9). Through videos and discussions, we'll discover what made these artists and shows so special. You'll learn what it takes to create Broadway magic at the highest level.
