Putting the Great Books on Trial
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

What makes a book "great?" Is it timelessness, influence, or the ability to change the way we see the world? In this six-week seminar, participants will step into the shoes of Adler and Hutchins to explore current relevance of their work, and to identify those books that should be considered seminal and worthy of a "Great Book" designation.
