This course is for anyone seeking knowledge about Alzheimer's disease, including those who are currently caregivers. The class is not suited for a person who is currently experiencing dementia. In addition to defining the seven clinical stages of Alzheimer's disease, the class will define and discuss the importance of person-centered care. The second session will include strategies, as well as hands-on demonstration of products, to support the physical and emotional needs of the person with dementia, as well as the caregiver.
