What is spirituality? How is it different from religion? What role does it play in a healthy aging process? In this six-week course, we will explore together some of the mysteries of life and death and how we create meaning and purpose along the way. The class will be taught with a combination of group dialogue and instructor presentations. Class members are encouraged to co-create an inclusive learning community in this class, and share with and learn from each other. Our instructor, Dr. Dave, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Utah, College of Social Work, former Director of Peace and Conflict Studies, and author of seven textbooks that link spiritual development with physical and mental well being.
