Follow the trail of the amateur sleuth on the page and on the stage; use your power of logic and deductive reasoning (elementary, really); solve the most difficult of puzzles (including crossword); laugh at the role comedy plays in these mysteries; and discover what made their private detectives the most dazzling sleuths in America.
