French Food and Beginning Conversation
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Have fun improving French conversational skills while focusing on French food. This is a beginning course and is designed for people with limited experience with the French language or those who studied before and want to revisit the language. The class is a three week condensed version of the Osher six week class and is slightly more advanced as we'll explore cooking vocabulary. The class is designed to give students tools for making visits to France more enjoyable and help them to be able to interact better in restaurants and other places where they can try fabulous French food. In addition, we'll discuss how to make favorite French dishes including traditional soups and a cheese souffle. Our third class will be offsite where we'll have a demonstration of making chocolate macarons and share our favorite foods as we celebrate our accomplishments in improving our language skills!
