Wealth and Poverty: Economic and Political Forces
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

This is a three-session course about the forces in our economy which determine wealth and poverty. We will be screening the film "Inequality for All" by Robert Reich for 45 minutes during the first class and for 45 minutes during the second class. We will pause the film every 5-10 minutes so class members can discuss the concepts. Then, we will have more discussion time during the last half of each class, hoping for a robust conversation about these important concepts. We will also reference the films of Robert Reich's class, Wealth and Inequality, that he taught at UC Berkeley in 2023.
