Exploring the Themes of "Witches, Sluts, Feminists: Conjuring the Sex Positive"

This is an interdisciplinary course that explores sexuality, power, and identity through feminist, historical, and psychological lenses. Students examine how systems such as sexism, heteronormativity, and cultural narratives have shaped understandings of bodies, desire, and agency across time. The course centers sexual diversity, fluidity, and lived experience while critically analyzing stigma, resistance, and liberation movements. Through discussion, reflection, and applied learning, students develop tools to challenge dominant narratives and support inclusive, affirming practices. This course invites learners to reclaim knowledge, question norms, and engage sexuality as both a personal and political force. Participants should read "Witches, Sluts, Feminists: Conjuring the Sex Positive" as a companion to the course.
