Outdoor Photography: Boot and Shoot
Lifelong Learning
Nothing improves your photography faster than practice, and shooting in the company of an instructor will put you ahead by leaps and bounds. Join us as we enjoy moderate hikes to a variety of scenic locations where we'll focus on landscape photography, wildlife, plants, and other subject matter. The first and last classes will be in the classroom; be prepared to share your work during the final class. Meetings 2, 3, and 4 are field trips; times are shooting times and do not include travel. Locations will be discussed at the first class; you're responsible for any location entrance fees. Please be prepared for potentially strenuous vertical hikes during the field trip meetings. Please be familiar with the workings of your camera.

Summer 2025 Section 1, Starting on: 06/19/2025
The first and last class sessions take place in person at the University Connected Learning and Continuing Education building (540 Arapeen Drive, SLC). Field trip locations announced in class. Students will share photos via Google; please come to the first class prepared with a Gmail address. Special fee is for printed material.
