Geothermal Greenhouse Gardening in Utah
Lifelong Learning

Also called a modified walipini, a geothermal greenhouse uses no electricity, no solar, no artificial heat or light, and works with Mother Nature using the principles of thermal dynamics to grow food year-round in Utah. Because the soil inside never freezes, you can create an indoor tropical garden space, up to zone 10-11. Depending on design, geothermal greenhouses in Utah are used to grow year-round citrus (oranges, lemons, limes, figs, etc.) and tender vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and spinach, and all root vegetables and brassicas (broccoli, cauliflower, etc.). Join us and learn how a geothermal greenhouse could work for you!
