Step into Utah's "Museum of Film" with the Salt Lake Film Society's Repertory program. This October, explore the evolution of horror through restored and archival 35mm films that have shaped the genre - and cinema itself. Each week, choose from multiple screening options (Sun, Mon, Wed, or Thu) to view a legendary title such as Dracula (1931), Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), Psycho (1960), Rosemary's Baby (1968), and Interview with the Vampire (1994). Perfect for film lovers, historians, or anyone craving a deeper understanding of horror's cultural impact, this course offers a spine-tingling, thought-provoking tour through the vaults of cinematic history. Students will receive two film tickets for the festival between September 28-30, a one-year Silver Screen Membership (student level), and a digital guide with festival context, background on featured films, and reflection questions. After viewing two films of their choice, participants will join a post-festival online discussion to share insights and connect through the lens of cinema.
