Learn to Sail
Lifelong Learning
Set sail with experienced instructors while you enjoy a hands-on adventure on the water. We'll guide you through the essential skills of sailing including steering, sail control, wind awareness, and water safety. We'll provide life jackets and all needed equipment; you just need to bring your sense of adventure and curiosity. All are welcome for this unique escapade designed specifically for beginners. This course is co-sponsored with Summit Journeys.

Class Sections For Learn to Sail (LLREC 637)
Summer 2026 Section 1, Starting on: 06/18/2026
This class meets outdoors; exact location announced one week before class. Please bring sunscreen, sunglasses, waterbottle, clothes you're comfortable getting wet in, towel, water shoes, hat, and a change of clothes. Special fee is for equipment rental and drinks. This class takes place regardless of weather, provided conditions are safe.
