Course Description
Indulge in the sheer luxury of silk as you embark on a creative journey to discover the exquisite art of painting on silk, using both paints and dyes to bring your visions to life. We'll take a deep dive into the serti technique, where you'll craft intricate designs and skillfully guide dyes within the boundaries using a resist. Explore the world of silk dyes and learn the essential techniques for setting and finishing your masterpiece. By the end of the class, you'll not only possess the basic skills to fashion your own stunning silk scarf but also with at least two silk pieces as a testament to your newfound talents.
